Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. How then can we question His decree?
Allah sees, hears, knows and understands what is in our hearts and what is happening in our surroundings. He is the One with the vastest knowledge of the universes – knowledge of me and you.
He knows the condition of our hearts and minds. Trust Him. He, Al Aleem, Allah, your Lord, knows what He is doing.
He is Al Aleem: all aware and most certain, the gatherer of knowledge, possessing the deepest knowledge of minute detail and decreeing according to his knowledge. Throughout our lives, we work to gain knowledge. Learning is also a form of worship. We are continuously learning; this is how we grow. Just imagine the extent of His knowledge compared to that of all the human race combined. For Him, there is no ignorance, no learning and no forgetfulness. Without telling Him your worries and wonders, He is Al Aleem. He has a plan. He is Al Aleem. “And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein” (50:16)
Al Aleem, it is an ideal that we aim for, to be fully present in each moment. He, Al Aleem possesses this and has gifted us with a hint of the ability. He knows the fastest moment as it is and what it means for every person, and what its purpose is in the chain of time. Trust that there is knowledge that He has kept from us.
He knows exactly why your world is different from mine. He knows the reasons behind every decision – He knows what we don’t. Al Aleem is a great test in our faith. Trust what He knows; that amount of trust comes with unyielding faith that in fact he knows you, loves you, and wants the best for you. Gaining knowledge of him is a form of worship. Let the supremeness and capacity of his own knowledge humble you, as well as comfort you. Al Aleem comes with trust.
